On December 13, reporters learned that the 500,000-ton smart cold chain project to be built in Xiaogan Shohengcheng has been fully constructed and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2024. As a national logistics hub project and a backbone cold chain logistics base, this move is a major livelihood measure for Shohengcheng to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan for Cold Chain Logistics Development Plan".
It is reported that the project covers an area of 373 acres and has a construction area of 380,000 square meters. It is planned to build 8 large-scale cold storages with full temperature range, 1 cold chain trading hall and related supporting facilities, using information technology and "Internet + full cold chain" The new model creates a smart cold chain area integrating cold chain warehousing, processing and packaging, and intelligent distribution.
